DESCRIPTION: This year’s Design Philadelphia installation highlights the breadth of interdisciplinary design build research being undertaken by both the students and faculty within the Tyler School of Art and Architecture. Curated by Prof. Andrew John Wit, projects range from the three recently completed market stall prototypes completed in collaboration with Southeast Asian Market at the Ambler campus, to a series of interdisciplinary demonstrators designed and prototyped by Prof. Wit along with sculptors, engineers, jewelers, ceramicists, and biologists. The projects are on view at the Cherry Street Pier during Design Philadelphia 2024.
